Louisville’s Wendy Whelan, principal dancer with the New York City Ballet for 25 years, and collaborator Brian Brooks’ latest creation features live music by the New York-based string quartet, Brooklyn Rider. 

This new evening is co-commissioned by The Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts, the International Festival of Arts & Ideas, The Joyce Theater Foundation’s Stephen and Cathy Weinroth Fund for New Work, and the Modlin Center for The Arts at University of Richmond.  This Kentucky Center dance performance is funded in part by a grant from South Arts in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts and Kentucky Arts Council. Additional support is generously provided by a gift from Marilyn Clark.
